Help Me Decide

The handing of a door is always determined from the push side.

If the door swings away from you to the left, it is a Left Hand door

If the door swings away from you to the right, it is a Right Hand door

More Info

Rixson began as a manufacturing company in Chicago, Illinois in 1900 owned by Oscar C. Rixson. All their products were designed to increase the quality of buildings being built during the fantastic building boom which was taking place then in the United States. After a couple of years in the business, Rixson created concealed floor closers to lessen the visibility of the closers thereby enhancing the beauty of the door. Eventually the company grew into what it is today as a part of the ASSA ABLOY Group Company.
