The H40 , floor closer body is designed to work with extra heavy doors that weigh up to one thousand pounds such as bronze, thick or stone clad doors. According to which arm you select, (either the 1-3/4” or the 2”) with your closer body, that will determine the door thickness. The arms used with this closer will not allow door centering adjustment and is therefore not recommended for pairs of doors. The mechanism of this closer will return the door to the center.
