• Device with lever trim function, key locks and unlocks lever
• The 996L Breakaway™ trim has become the standard lever trim offering on the 98L/99L series devices.
  The Breakaway™ design is especially effective in areas where vandalism to door hardware is a problem.
• Rim cylinder not included
• Vertical Rods-standard rods accommodate 7’ door
• Device Functions- device ships EO/DT/NL/TP or L, field selectable.
• For all types of single or double doors.

• Strikes Top - 299 – Dull black finish, Bottom – 248L4 & 304L - unfinished
• Hex key dogging standard
• Latch Bolt -  Deadlocking Anti-friction Top & Bottom Bolt, 5/8" throw
• Covers stock hollow metal doors with 86 or 161 cutouts
• Non-handed except when the following device options are used:
  SD (Special Dogging), or SS (Signal Switch).
• UL listed for Panic Exit Hardware.
• Devices are ANSI A156.3 – 2001 Grade 1.
• Door thickness- 1-3/4" and 2-1/4" with standard centerlines
• Device Centerline from Finished Floor 39-5/8"
• Top rod length is 34-15/16". Bottom rod length is 31-1/4"
• Door Undercut 1/4"
• Center Case Dimensions 8" x 2-3/4" x 2-3/8"
• Top & Bottom Latch Case 4-1/2" x 2-1/8" x 1-1/2"
• Projection -Pushbar Neutral, 3-13/16" Pushbar Depressed, 3-1/16"
