Applications where double action is necessary on interior doors.
PH 5lbs, this is a lighter than normal opening force for ADA compliance. Be aware that this may not be strong enough to close doors.
Centering arm with adjustment screws in face of door.
Adjustable closing-speed valve for each direction of door swing.
The mechanism returns the door to the center.
Maximum door opening is 103⁰.
Uses steel cement case.
Not allowed for use with fire rated doors.
With automatic hold open. Automatic hold open (A) at 90° (requires 93° swing) or 100° (requires 103° swing.

The Rixson 40 series floor closer body is for center-hung applications where the pivot point is in the center of the door’s thickness, and where double action is necessary. Maximum door weight is three hundred pounds, and maximum door size is four feet by eight feet and six inches. Door will swing open up to one-hundred and three degrees. The door closer mechanism will return the door to the center.
