• LX-latchbolt monitoring, signal switch monitors both egress and access of an opening. When the latchbolt is retracted, the switch is activated.
• Surface mounted vertical rods with center case latch.
• Device length for doors 2'4' to 3'.
• Vertical rods-standard rods accommodate 7' door. Top rod length: 34 15/16". Bottom rod length: 31 1/2".
• Fasteners-Includes screw pack for 1 3/4" to 2 1/4"  thick metal or wood doors, and 325 SNB for top and bottom latch.

  Face the outside of the door to determine the hand. Here are some rules to follow:

  • The outside of an exterior door is the street or entrance side.
  • The outside of a room door is the hall side.
  • The outside of a single communicating door is the side from which the hinges are not visible when the door is closed.
  • The outside of a closet door is the room or hall side.

  

  ​Doors equipped with exit devices swing out only, and therefore exit device handing is known as reverse bevel.

  The door is Left Hand Reversed if:

     • While you are standing outside of the room facing the door, the hinges are on your left side.

  The door is Right Hand Reversed if:

     • While you are standing outside of the room facing the door, the hinges are on your right side.
