This Von Duprin 9975L-F is a fire rated mortise lock exit device for all types of single doors up to 4' x 10' and double doors up to 8' x 10'. This product is generally non-handed unless it is used with one of the following options: -2 (Double Cylinder) or SS (Signal Switch).

The outside of an exterior door is the street or entrance side.
The outside of a room door is the hall side.
The outside of a single communicating door is the side from which the hinges are not visible when the door is closed.
The outside of a closet door is the room or hall side.

Doors equipped with exit devices swing out only, and therefore exit device handing is known as reverse bevel.

The door is Left Hand Reversed if:

• While you are standing outside of the room facing the door, the hinges are on your left side.

The door is Right Hand Reversed if:

• While you are standing outside of the room facing the door, the hinges are on your right side.

Fits stock hollow metal doors with 86 cutout
The 7500 Mortise lock is equipped with a 3/4” anti-friction latch bolt which is field reversible without removing the lock from the door. It has a non-handed auxiliary bolt for deadlocking and a faceplate with an adjustable bevel.

The fire rated version of the 9875L-F features all the same advantages as the standard model, with the added benefit of compatibility to operate fire-rated exits. It is available with two different rail sizes to properly fit any between 2’4” and 4’ wide. This device will fit on any single and double doors with a thickness of 1-3/4”.
