Why use pivots to hang doors rather than hinges? Here are some of the reasons why pivots may just be the better option for you.

Hinges that are used to support a door are working against the natural forces of gravity. They are designed to keep the door hung slightly above the ground, thereby fighting the force of gravity which naturally pulls anything down.
