The ASI 0196 TURBO-Pro brings something most commercial hand dryers do not have: a HEPA filter built directly into the unit. Before air reaches the user's hands, it is drawn through a replaceable HEPA filter that captures particulates and helps deliver cleaner, purified air during the drying process. That makes the 0196 a particularly strong specification for healthcare facilities, food service environments, and any space where air quality is a genuine concern.
The filter is housed in its own dedicated chamber that is separated from the dryer's core mechanical components. That separation means the filter can be accessed, removed, and replaced without disconnecting the unit from power or taking it off the wall. For facility maintenance teams working through a restroom service schedule, that is a meaningful time-saver.
The dryer itself is compact and
ADA compliant at just 4 inches deep, fitting cleanly on standard walls without protruding into the restroom. The cover and cabinet are constructed from type 304 stainless steel in a satin finish on the base model. The motor is a 0.67 HP dual ball bearing brush-type unit that runs between 16,000 and 29,000 RPM, driving a multi-inlet centrifugal fan that produces 55 to 72 CFM of airflow. That output gets hands dry in under 15 seconds, and both the air speed and the heating element are owner-adjustable. The heat can be switched off entirely with a dedicated on/off switch, which gives facilities the option to run on air only and reduce energy consumption.
