It uses the same two-piece bracket-and-set-screw mounting system found across ASI's chrome Zamak accessory line: a stainless steel wall bracket goes up first using the included #10 self-threading screws, and the hook attaches to the bracket and locks in place with a stainless steel hex socket set screw at the base of the flange. No exposed fasteners, clean finished look. At just over 2 inches deep, it keeps a compact profile off the wall while still giving a solid hang point for robes, towels, bags, or clothing. For a double-hook version, the 0745-Z is the companion model. Coordinates with other ASI chrome Zamak accessories for a consistent restroom or locker room finish.

It is part of ASI's chrome Zamak accessory family and shares the same two-piece mounting system used across the line, which makes it easy to install consistently across multiple locations with the same tools and technique.

The hook body is fabricated from rust-resistant Zamak with a chrome plated finish. Zamak is a zinc-based alloy that holds chrome plating well and resists the corrosion that comes with daily exposure to moisture and cleaning products in a commercial restroom environment. The chrome finish delivers a classic, polished look that coordinates cleanly with other ASI chrome Zamak accessories including the 0721-Z soap dish, 0755-Z round towel bar, 0760-Z square towel bar, and 0785-Z towel ring.

Installation is a two-step process. The stainless steel wall bracket mounts directly to the wall using the included #10 self-threading screws through the holes provided in the bracket. Once the bracket is secured, the hook body fits over the bracket and locks in place with a stainless steel hex socket set screw tightened at the base of the flange. That set screw keeps the hook from rotating or loosening under regular use, and because it sits at the base rather than on the visible face of the fixture, the finished installation has no exposed fasteners on the front.
