Two hook arms extend from a single mounting point, giving users twice the hang space in the same wall footprint as a single hook. The stainless steel wall bracket is reinforced with two vertically embossed gussets for extra strength, which makes it a better fit for applications where the hooks will see regular, heavier use. Mounting uses the included #8 x 1-3/8 inch Phillips flat head screws, and the hook body is secured to the bracket with a stainless steel slotted set screw at the flange perimeter. All hardware is included. For applications where only one hang point is needed, the 0740-Z is the single hook version. Coordinates with the full ASI chrome Zamak accessory line.

Overview

The ASI 0745-Z is a double surface-mounted robe hook for commercial restrooms, locker rooms, hotel guest bathrooms, spa changing areas, and anywhere two hang points are needed in a compact wall space. Like its single-hook counterpart the 0740-Z, it uses the same two-piece bracket and set screw installation system found throughout ASI's chrome Zamak accessory line. The difference is the hook body itself, which carries two arms instead of one, and the wall bracket, which is reinforced with a pair of vertically embossed gussets to handle the added load that comes with a double hook in regular commercial use.

The hook body is triple chrome plated Zamak. Triple plating means three layers of chrome are applied over the Zamak base rather than one, which builds up greater depth and durability in the finish. In a commercial restroom environment where fixtures are wiped down frequently with cleaning agents and regularly loaded with wet robes or towels, that extra plating holds up better over time than a single-coat chrome finish.

Installation starts with the stainless steel wall bracket, which mounts directly to the wall using the included #8 x 1-3/8 inch Phillips flat head screws through the holes provided. The hook body then fits over the bracket and locks in place with a stainless steel slotted set screw tightened at the perimeter of the flange. That connection keeps the hook from rotating or working loose under regular use, and the set screw position at the flange means no fasteners are visible on the front face of the finished fixture.

The 0745-Z is the natural step up from the 0740-Z for spaces where two items routinely need to be hung at the same location. A guest bathroom in a hotel, a changing stall in a gym or spa, or an accessible restroom where both a robe and a bag need a dedicated hang point are all common use cases. Because both hooks share a single wall bracket, the 0745-Z delivers twice the hanging capacity with only one set of mounting holes.

The gusseted bracket is worth noting for specifiers. The two vertically embossed gussets on the wall bracket add lateral rigidity to the mounting plate, which helps the bracket resist flexing when both hooks are loaded simultaneously. It is a practical detail that extends the life of the installation in higher-use environments.
