The ASI 7307 is a surface-mounted round towel bar for commercial and hospitality restrooms that want a clean, understated look in satin stainless steel. The 18 inch bar is a practical length for hand towel use near a sink, fitting comfortably in most single-sink restroom layouts without taking up excessive horizontal wall space.
The bar tube is 20-gauge type 304 stainless steel at 5/8 inch in diameter, giving it a slender profile that reads as refined rather than industrial. The posts are 22-gauge and the mounting cups are 19-gauge, all in the same satin finish, so the hardware that is visible from the side maintains the same tone as the bar face-on. The 2 inch diameter round mounting cups are what give this bar its name and its design character — rather than the flat rectangular brackets found on utility-grade towel bars, the round cups give the 7307 a more finished, intentional appearance.
Each end of the bar clips onto its mounting cup by way of a flange on the post. A single M5 cone point set screw at each end, tightened with the included 2.5mm hex key, locks each flange in place. Those set screws are recessed and angled so they are not visible from a normal viewing distance once tightened. The mounting cups go up first using the included #6 x 1-1/2 inch self-threading pan head screws with plastic wall anchors, or other hardware suitable for the wall conditions.
The bar extends 2-5/8 inches from the wall. For
ADA and ICC/ANSI A-117.1 compliance, the top of the towel bar should be installed at 48 inches maximum above finished floor when clear floor reach is available, 46 inches AFF for side reach over an obstruction deeper than 10 inches, or 44 inches AFF for forward reach over an obstruction deeper than 20 inches. For general utility, ASI recommends the centerline of the mounting cups at 55 inches above finished floor.
