This Kaba Access Control 8146B-26D is a pushbutton mortise lock with key override, passage and lockout features. This lock operates with one access code for all users. It can be easily programmed via keypad without removing the lock from the door.

Because this is not a stock item we must order it specifically for you and we will be unable to accept a return unless the item is defective as determined by the factory it was bought from.

Face the outside of the door to determine the hand. Here are some rules to follow:

The outside of an exterior door is the street or entrance side.
The outside of a room door is the hall side.
The outside of a single communicating door is the side from which the hinges are not visible when the door is closed.
The outside of a closet door is the room or hall side.

When you are standing outside of the room facing the door and the hinges are on your left side:

If the door swings away from you it is Left Handed
If the door swings towards you it is Left Hand Reversed

When you are standing outside of the room facing the door and the hinges are on your right side:

If the door swings away from you, it is Right Handed
If the door swings towards you, it is Right Hand Reversed

Mortise lock with two-piece anti-friction latch.
Access permitted by combination or key override.
Key override feature accepts small format Best type interchangeable cores 6 or 7 pin length (Core not included).
Passage function - allows access without using the lock entry code. The feature is activated from the inside with a thumbturn or supplied key.
Lockout function - disables the lock from the inside so that the entry codes cannot be used to gain access. Access is permitted using key override.
The lock is weather resistant.

This Kaba combination lock is weather resistant and very practical. It includes two useful features that will enable you to control the opening. The passage function allows you to set the lock to enable free access without using the combination and the lockout feature will disable the lock and won’t permit entry codes to enable access.
