This Dorma 8916 is designed to meet the demanding requirements in institutional or high traffic applications. Can be used on doors that weigh up to 180 pounds, measure up to 96" in height and up to 48" in width on interior doors and 42" in width on exterior doors.

Because this is not a stock item we must order it specifically for you and we will be unable to accept a return unless the item is defective as determined by the factory it was bought from.

Hold Open - a mechanism within a closer which allows a door to remain in an open position

Parallel Arm - a door closer arm that mounts on the push side of the door and the arm assembly extends almost parallel to the door. In the closed position, there is very little, or no hardware projecting beyond the frame face (in most situations). This may be beneficial in vandalism prone areas. Due to the geometry of the arm it may be about 25% less power-efficient than a regular arm application.
