This Kaba Access Control L1076 Simplex mechanical pushbutton lever lock includes the key override feature using a small format interchangeable core (Best type) or a large format removable core(core not included) and privacy feature. It will retrofit cylindrical and tubular locksets with a 2-3/4" backset. The combination can be changed in seconds without removing the lock from the door.

Because this is not a stock item we must order it specifically for you and we will be unable to accept a return unless the item is defective as determined by the factory it was bought from.

Face the outside of the door to determine the hand. Here are some rules to follow:

The outside of an exterior door is the street or entrance side.
The outside of a room door is the hall side.
The outside of a single communicating door is the side from which the hinges are not visible when the door is closed.
The outside of a closet door is the room or hall side.

When you are standing outside of the room facing the door and the hinges are on your left side:

If the door swings away from you it is Left Handed
If the door swings towards you it is Left Hand Reversed

When you are standing outside of the room facing the door and the hinges are on your right side:

If the door swings away from you, it is Right Handed
If the door swings towards you, it is Right Hand Reversed

Privacy- disables the lock from the inside so that the entry code cannot be used to gain access. Access is permitted using the key override only when in this mode.

Mechanical pushbutton locks are very useful in areas where multiple people require access and the use of keys has become impractical. This lock is operated with one pin number which can be simply programed at the door. The combination consists of one to five numbers which are pressed either individually or simultaneously.
