More Info

An exit device, also known as a panic bar is a fantastic locking mechanism approved by UL for panic. This device operates with body weight. As soon as the bar is depressed, whether by pushing it with your hand or by leaning your body against it, the latch will be released and the door will swing open. Hex key dogging is used as a standard means to lock down the device, keeping it unlatched.
